Al-generated visuals are now being used far beyond ideation—appearing in real campaigns, posters, and videos. This rapid shift raises a critical question: Are designers still necessary in the age of Gen Al?
The session introduces design education today and using Al assist visual ideation framework—a framework that re-canters foundational design knowledge as the core of creative education.
It argues for the enduring value of craft, critical thinking, and research skills, including the importance of libraries and books as cornerstone resources.
